Dr. David Asks some important questions of interest to Humble residents - Chiropractor Humble Dr. David Asks...

How do most people deal with subluxations?
First, they try to ignore them. When they don't, they go to the medicine cabinet to stop their brain from feeling the symptom. Later, back surgery may be threatened. Sadly, it's not until this later stage that they consult our Humble chiropractic office. Yet, even with the delay, most are delighted by the results produced by today's chiropractic care. Contact us and let's get started.
What's your plan to deal with drug-resistant 'super germs'?
Chiropractors have always been concerned with the indiscriminate use of antibiotics, accelerating the mutation of microbes that make "wonder" drugs increasingly ineffective. My strategy? Do everything possible to bolster my immune system through proper diet, rest, exercise, clean air, pure water and an optimally functioning nervous system with regular chiropractic care.

I Wish I Could Get My Spouse to Come In!

If you’ve experienced great results from care in our practice, it’s only natural to want someone you love to benefit too. Here are some approaches you may find more helpful than threats.

Ask questions. Try to find out what belief(s) are standing in the way. Often it’s some unfounded fear or misconception.

Supply information. What could we do to equip you with the information you need to make a difference?

Offer an invitation. We are happy to answer questions over the phone. Or bring your loved one with you on your next visit.

Give it time. Trust that your friend or family member will choose chiropractic if and when the time is right. The decision to use chiropractic is big. When you tell others, you’re changing the world.

If Mom’s Not Happy, Nobody’s Happy

Being a mom is an extremely demanding role in so many different ways, and not least because it typically leaves women spread so very thin.  In their bids to ensure that everyone else is looked after and that the home runs smoothly, often they hold nothing back for themselves, and they can fall prey to losing their own sense of identity.  As the saying goes, though, “If mom’s not happy, nobody’s happy.”

Everyone needs a bit of “me time” to indulge themselves in their favorite hobby, spend time with friends and just to reconnect with who they are at various levels, and this is no less the case with moms than with anyone else – in fact, moms probably need it more!  Waiting around for that convenient time to be able to fit in some fun or relaxation, however, invariably means that it never happens.  With so many other things and people to factor in, “me time” just gets put on the back burner indefinitely until mom finally reaches the end of her tether.

No one can keep going indefinitely, and moms especially need to make sure that they take regular opportunities to recharge their batteries if they’re going to be able to give all that they’re capable of giving.  Don’t wait until your tank has run dry.  Schedule in some regular “me time” and life will be better for all the family!
