Dr. David Asks some important questions of interest to Humble residents - Chiropractor Humble Dr. David Asks...

How long will you need chiropractic care?
You'll need chiropractic care as long as you live in Humble and encounter physical, chemical or emotional stress that you cannot adapt to or accommodate. Ready to get started? Call our office today.
What are the two things drugs do?
Drugs can either speed up (laxatives, amphetamines, caffeine) a bodily process, or slow down (stomach antacids, sleep aids, antihistamines, muscle relaxers) a bodily process. Chiropractic care can produce the same results, but relies on the intelligence of the body. Chiropractors trust your body. Do you?

Introducing Humble Chiropractor Dr. David Bush

Dr. David Bush

Years ago something happened to me that changed my life forever. Let me tell you my story.

Many years ago, my Mom and sister were forced off the road by an 18-wheeler. My sister was driving and the car was squashed. The worst part was that my mother was trapped as the roof was crushed on top of her head. As a result, she suffered constantly from severe headaches and back pain. We tried everything to help her, but nothing worked. I thought my Mom would never be the same person. She couldn't do anything without pain. Two years later, my Dad suggested she try a friend who was a chiropractor as a "last resort". The chiropractor did an exam, took some films and then "adjusted" her spine. The adjustment didn't hurt, it actually felt good. The results were swift and amazing. After her first "adjustment" she told me she felt 60% better. She got relief, and I finally got my Mom back the way she was before the accident! No drugs, no surgery, and no scary procedures at the hospital. It worked so well that I went to chiropractic school myself.

It's strange how life is, because now people come to see me with their injuries. Also they come to me with their headaches, migraines, chronic pain, ear infections, neck pain, shoulder/arm pain, backaches, asthma, allergies, numbness in limbs and athletic injuries, just to name a few.

I went to Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas and then on to Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, Texas where I graduated in 1987. I actually began my college career with the goal of becoming an orthopedic surgeon. I wanted to be one of those guys who works on professional athletes and be known for prolonging the careers of the elite athletes. I have post-graduate certifications in acupuncture, BioCranial technique, Active Release Technique (I am a certified instructor for this one!) and I am also certified in Body Restoration Technique. As it turned out, I work and have worked with all types of athletes including members of the PGA, NFL, major league baseball and Olympic athletes. However, my biggest joy is changing the lives of people like me. Normal people who want a better way of life for themselves and their families. This gives me the motivation and the drive to keep getting better everyday as a father, husband and doctor.

We want every patient to feel the difference that our office can make in their life. Our philosophy is that you should feel loved and cared for on a level that is uncommon. Our goal is to make your visit a memorable and pleasant experience that you will happily share with others. Your chiropractic care will be something you and your family and friends will look forward to on every level.

I am a husband to my wife Dawn, who is also a chiropractor. A father to my two wonderful daughters Jaclyn and Savana and in my spare time I study and play golf and guitar when time allows. I know that if you have children you understand that most of my free time is spent with them. I had no idea that time really would fly when these kids were born. Now, as they grow, I do my best to make sure that we DON'T grow apart, so I do what my kids and my wife want to do in my spare time and I love every minute I get to spend with them at the movies or just laying around.

As a doctor, I feel it is very important to "walk my talk." I don't just tell my patients what they should do, I actually do it for myself! I work out almost everyday in some way. I eat healthy foods, I learn about anything we do for our family before we do it and our kids have never been vaccinated for many reasons that would take way too much time to explain. I understand and believe (the scientific literature supports me) that the body can and will heal itself if given the right kind of fuel and stimulus to heal. We simply don't do drugs because we don't need drugs.

Enough about me already! This website was put here to help you make the first step towards better health. All you have to do is WANT the help we provide. Our staff is waiting for you to call and we are committed serving you!
